Abstract

PROBLEM: the current difficulty of teaching is the fear and acceptance of integrating Information and Communication Technologies in the teaching-learning process in synchronous and asynchronous classes, the lack or little integration of ICT in the training process academic, is due to not being highly qualified and trained to provide a modern and efficient education with technological didactic incorporation. OBJECTIVE: to determine the mastery of ICT resources and tools used by teachers, to favor the acquisition of teaching-learning strategy of the Bachelor of Science and Letters with Computer Orientation. METHOD: quantitative approach with a descriptive scope and non-transversal design with a population of middle-level teachers with a non-probabilistic sample, thus, carrying out an enriching investigation with numerical data of the current phenomenon with the support of the observation technique and a list instrument. structured matching. RESULTS: the data collection reveals that the integration of ICT in the teaching-learning process is very high of 100%, in such a way that the hearing capacity, the content and the design is functional and attractive. CONCLUSION: teachers know and use different digital platforms, word processors and communication applications for the academic training of students.

María Susana Calán Xiloj,  actualmente estudiante de la FAHUSAC Escuela de Estudios de Postgrado de la Maestría en Currículum, graduada en Facultad de Humanidades, licenciada en Pedagogía y Derechos Humanos de la Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala USAC, Profesora de Enseñanza Media en Pedagogía y Derechos Humanos y Cultura de Paz,  se desempeña como docente de carrera de nivel medio de diferentes especialidades, realizó investigación de cómo mejorar el conocimiento del personal del Centro de Atención del Adulto Mayor “ Mis Años Dorados” sobre la importancia de los derechos humanos del adulto mayor.
